“We lived in Germany for more than 50 years and we returned to Chile on vacation, but my sister and I always had this desire to return to the country and on this trip we decided to make it a reality by looking for the ideal place to live and thinking about having accommodation. That is how, by fate, we found Zapato Amarillo and we fell in love.”

 

The two sisters have always been interested in working in customer service, sharing the place with people and having guests, so the ideal option for their return to Chile was always guided by the accommodation service.

“We bought this iconic hostel last year and were very excited to work as a team with our mom and in contact with the guests,” she says.

 

In February 2023 they visited the hostel and were amazed by the surroundings,

its gardens, the energy of the place and its differentiating infrastructure,

as well as loving the little city of Puerto Octay.
